About Me
Nubian Flunder, L.Ac.
I am a dedicated and compassionate practitioner who loves holistic medicine and the exciting process of healing. I have been involved in holistic healing for over 15 years. I began this love affair with the study and practice of balanced nutrition, western herbal medicine, holistic approaches to women's health, martial arts, and energy work (breathing, meditation, qi gong, mantra etc.).
I was first introduced to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) while healing from a knee injury in 1994. Fascinated by the tremendous results, I continued to incorporate TCM into my regular health regimen.
After earning a MSTOM from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine - San Diego, and completing over 3,000 hours of training, I continue to be an avid student of TCM, health and wellness.
I have received extensive training in TCM as well as experience with nutrition, dietary supplements, and therapeutic massage. My experience also includes study at the Chengdu University of TCM in Chengdu, China - a high volume TCM hospital under the instruction of master practitioners.
In my practice I encourage the development of overall well-being and a healthy lifestyle. I incorporate the same into my life by enjoying the outdoors, good food, dancing, hiking, laughing, traveling, friends and family, meditation and the arts. Prevention is the key!
